No need to wait to find a camera by luck or happenstance. Start your own Snap It Forward camera by requesting one of our tags using the form below. We’ll e-mail you your very own uniquely tag to attach to a disposable camera. The number allows us to track your camera and notify you when it returns.
Other things you will need:
- A disposable camera - Fewer frames are better than many frames (The more frames on the camera, the longer it will take to return). I recommend getting one with a flash in case people want to take photos indoors or at night. If you can find one with a strap, it makes your life easier.
- Some form of lamination - The tags need protection. The easiest way to laminate them is to buy “self-laminating luggage tags.” You can get them at OfficeMax, Office Depot and probably lots of other places. The cheapest way to laminate the tags is using clear packing tape and patience. Up to you either way.
- A way to attach the tag to the camera - I got lucky with my first camera. It actually came with a strap and a loop on the camera to attach the strap. The next batch I put together didn’t have that feature so I improvised. I carefully opened a flap of the cardboard “wrapper” that went over the plastic camera shell. I threaded the flap through the loop on the tag then taped it shut with packing tape. Worked like a charm.
